MOSAIC LABS / ENGINEERING WE’RE HIRING
Forward Deployed
Engineer.
You bring the AI depth — and decide how the product actually gets built.
What you’ll build
You’ll build and deploy agents that do the work inside one or more of our business functions — Supply Chain, New Product Development (NPD), Finance, or Category. Work with the PM and functional team to turn a real business workflow into a reliable agent, from prototype through deployment.
The agents you build could take on work such as:
- Supply ChainBuild agents that coordinate inventory and order workflows, flag exceptions, and handle the follow-ups that keep operations moving.
- New Product Development (NPD)Build agents that research consumer needs, synthesize scientific evidence, and recommend what product to build and how to position it.
- FinanceBuild agents that reconcile financial data, track commitments, and raise early warning signals when results drift from the plan.
- CategoryBuild agents that analyze consumer, product, and performance data to recommend assortment, pricing, and what to build next.
You own how the product gets built: the agent architecture, models, tools, integrations, and evaluation. Ship it into the real workflow, handle the edge cases, and keep improving it against the business outcome.
What you’ll do
- Architect and ship agents that carry out work in Supply Chain, NPD, Finance, or Category — from a working prototype to agents running in real workflows.
- Stay at the frontier — agent architectures, software factories, model training, tooling — and bring it into real work.
- Hunt the edge cases before they hunt you.
- Build the playbook that makes every next build faster.
You’re probably
- 5–8 years in B2B SaaS or 3–5 years in AI.
- Someone who works backwards from outcomes.
- More excited by business problems than scale problems.
- Deep in AI-first development, with strong opinions on tooling.
- Someone who’s seen a product through its whole lifecycle.
What you get
- 0-to-1 — the opportunity to build from scratch.
- A PM partner who owns the domain.
- Rewards tied to what you ship and what it moves.
- Budget to experiment, travel and keep learning.
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
